Erin Daffodil Joswick and Mary Parker are
skilled floral designers with 18 years of
combined experience in wedding/event
flowers and custom arranging. Having
worked together and separately in the
Twin Cities, New York and Los Angeles,
we formed a new partnership in 2005,
combining our freelance efforts and
laying plans to open a walk-in location
in Madison, Wisconsin.
In early 2006, we noticed a vacancy at
the corner of W. Main Street and S.
Bassett Street, just four blocks off the
Capitol Square. The adorable two-story
building turned out to be one of the city's
oldest commercial properties, originally
built in 1890 and subsequently operated
as everything from a family grocery to a
boarding house. With a lot of love, paint
and gracious assistance from building
owner Bob Keller, the first-floor space
was transformed into daffodil*parker,a
cozy urban work space for our wedding
and event business, as well as a perfectly
located home base for daily arrangements,
floral deliveries and unique retail offerings.
We opened our doors on May 13, 2006.
By early 2008, our success in wedding
and event design prompted us to shift our
focus and revert to a by-appointment-only
floral studio in order to better serve brides
and clients throughout the year. Our staff
has grown to include Jackie Reisenauer and
Lindsay Morris, bringing even more energy
and expertise to our team. We are pleased
to offer free bridal consultations and look
forward to speaking with you about your
particular floral needs.
